If the estate tax returns in 2011 with an exemption of a mere $1 million and a tax rate of 55%, I hope you will (1) review the pages you dog-eared when you read Estate Planning Smarts (you have a copy, right?), and (2) then meet with your trusted practitioner(s). Increasing your estate planning smarts now will prevent anxiety on January 2nd.
